Algam Introduces Four New Martin Guitars after NAMM 2026
Ahead of the 2026 NAMM Show, Algam is proud to announce four brand-new Martin guitars, expanding the legendary manufacturer’s 2026 lineup with bold new designs, premium craftsmanship, and limited-edition artistry. The new models include the Super D-18, Super HD-28, Martin O’ahu® K-42 Hibiscus, and the Custom Shop M Paisley Ember Burst. Following the recent launch of the refreshed Road Series, these instruments represent another major milestone for Martin Guitar in 2026, with more exciting announcements still to come during NAMM.
Super D-18 & Super HD-28
The Super D-18 and Super HD-28 bring Martin’s most powerful body shape to the Standard Series for the first time. Building on the success of the Custom Shop Super D, this larger dreadnought-style body features approximately 20% more internal air volume than a traditional Dreadnought—delivering deeper bass, greater projection, and a wider dynamic range while retaining Martin’s iconic silhouette.
Acoustic testing shows output gains of up to 12 dB, offering noticeably more volume with less playing effort.
Super D-18 pairs a solid spruce top with genuine mahogany back and sides for a warm, balanced voice.
Super HD-28 combines a solid spruce top with East Indian rosewood back and sides for enhanced depth and harmonic richness.
Both models feature forward-shifted Golden Era scalloped X-bracing, ensuring exceptional responsiveness, clarity, and projection.
Martin O’ahu® K-42 Hibiscus
The K-42 Hibiscus expands the Martin O’ahu line with a bold reinterpretation of the historic Kealakai-inspired body. This model introduces a never-before-seen configuration for Martin: a 12-fret body paired with a 14-fret neck, repositioning the bridge for improved focus and projection.
Visually striking and sonically refined, the K-42 Hibiscus features:
Broad-flamed koa back and sides
A reclaimed spruce top with a dark toasted burst
Style 42 appointments
Madagascar rosewood binding
Hibiscus fingerboard inlays

Custom Shop M Paisley Ember Burst
Designed by Martin President and CEO Thomas Ripsam, the Custom Shop M Paisley Ember Burst is a one-year limited model that showcases Martin’s artistic and technical expertise at the highest level.
Highlights include:
Custom Engelmann spruce top featuring a unique “Martin paisley” pattern with historic snowflake and diamond motifs
Quilted maple back and sides
Ember Burst finish for a cohesive, premium aesthetic
Forward-shifted Golden Era scalloped bracing for clarity and articulation
Premium appointments include flamed maple binding, abalone inlays, Waverly® gold tuners, L.R. Baggs® Anthem™ electronics, and a hand-signed interior label—making this model equally compelling for performers and collectors.
