British craftsmanship, decades of experience and a commitment to quality. Ashdown returns to its roots with a new generation of UK-made bass amplification.
Unveiled at NAMM 2026, the new Ashdown UK-Made Collection marks an exciting new chapter for the British amplifier manufacturer. Nearly 30 years after the company was founded, Ashdown is bringing production back to where it all began, combining traditional British craftsmanship with modern engineering and lightweight design.
Proudly Made in the UK
British manufacturing has always been an important part of Ashdown's identity. With the introduction of the UK-Made Collection, the brand is reaffirming its commitment to local production, exceptional build quality and long-term reliability.
To bring this new range to life, Ashdown has reunited with several of its original British suppliers, including manufacturers of transformers and metalwork that have supported the company for almost three decades.
These long-standing partnerships are built on trust and an impressive track record. In fact, Ashdown reports that it has never experienced a single failure from the speakers or transformers supplied by these partners throughout their nearly 30-year relationship.
It's a remarkable testament to the quality and reliability that have helped establish Ashdown as a trusted name among bass players worldwide.
Lighter Cabinets, Same Legendary Ashdown Sound
While the UK-Made Collection celebrates Ashdown's heritage, it's also designed with today's musicians in mind.
The new speaker cabinets have been completely redesigned from the ground up, with a strong focus on reducing weight and improving efficiency without sacrificing performance.
Specially developed lightweight drivers help make the cabinets easier to transport, while maintaining the powerful output, tonal character and reliability that bassists have come to expect from Ashdown.
Whether you're heading to rehearsals, recording in the studio or performing on stage, the new UK-made cabinets are designed to deliver professional performance in a more portable package.
