REV. WILLY’S MEXICAN LOTTERY BRAND GUITAR STRINGS
Billy Gibbons' big fat Texas tone has been described as hot, blue, and righteous. Developed at the Dunlop String Lab in collaboration with Billy himself, these strings complement that famous sound perfectly with a real punch that remains clear and articulate when he turns out his legendary leads and pinch harmonics. The end result is rich, smooth, and soulful just like the ol' Rev.
HEAVY CORE® KORN GUITAR STRINGS
Korn’s Head and Munky helped kick off the nu-metal movement with 7-string guitars and aggressive downtuned grooves. Searching for a way to evolve that sound and fully unlock the true potential of their instruments, they came to Dunlop. We worked closely with both players to build a set of strings around Heavy Core technology for increased dynamic range, optimal tension when drop-tuned, and and incredible tuning stability. This is that set of strings—carefully tailored to the tonal and tactile dynamics of 7-string guitars. Each set includes a custom-print Tortex® Pick—the very same one that Head and Munky use to dig in after stringing up.

JIM ROOT SIGNATURE GUITAR STRINGS
When you're dishing out blast-beat-driven grooves and extra twisted melodies from downtuned depths like Jim Root, you need a set of strings that will stand up to your onslaught while staying in tune. He came to the Dunlop String Lab to design just such a set. Jim handpicked each gauge and core size to ensure peak performance, from feel and response to tuning stability.

TRIVIUM HYBRID WOUND NICKEL BASS STRINGS
Designed to give Paolo Gregoletto a bigger, bolder tone, these Hybrid Wound Nickel Bass Strings are made with alternating nickel and steel windings with a nickel outer wrap to tap into the unique tonality of both materials. Nickel layers provide a big, punchy low end while the steel layers allow you to cut through the mix with an aggressive midrange. Boosted by steel and tamed by nickel, the top end is pronounced yet musical. Under the fingers, Hybrid Wound Bass Strings are smooth and comfortable to play. We worked closely with him to develop a set of strings that deliver the power and tonal flexibility he needs to meet the demands of his rigorous playing schedule head on. Designed using the same formulas as Robert’s custom tapered set but made specifically for non-tapered setups, these strings will throw down a clear and articulate top end, solid midrange punch to cut through a wall of guitars, and more than enough focused bottom to knock you on your ass!
